Loved, loved, loved the Sam I got to know in The One After 9:09 I would so loved to have met him in real life. He really was ‘a one of a one’. Such a shame he’s not universally recognized and applauded for all he accomplished in the early days of The Beatles.

Met Sam and found him charming, lively and still full of optimism. He deserves to be remembered.

Sam was my friend, and I love him and miss him. I know he played a big part in the early Beatles’ history, and deserves recognition for it!

We stayed in liverpool and did all the tourist Beatles stuff ,we went to the grapes and met someone who told us all about Sam leach and how he was was one of the first in the Beatles story and yet not really mentioned which I personally think is very sad ,as nurtured young acorns grow into mighty oaks but without the nurture at the beginning things could of been very different . So I'm all for this petition .

Sam has a place in Beatle History plain and simple. Ignoring that would be false.

Sam was a true gent. I was the person who took the photo of Sam, Bob Wooler and Allan Williams at an early convention in Liverpool.
