For many years now my husband and I have spent the majority of our vacation time in Salem. The main reason we continue to return to Salem is to enjoy the unique historic charm the city has to offer including the beautiful brick sidewalks. Please preserve this unique feature so current and future visitors and residents may continue to enjoy their historic beauty.

My husband and I would hate to see these beautiful brick roads and sidewalks be destroyed from lack of repair! We have made our 4th cross country trip to the Salem area and we love seeing all the preservation being done in NE. Let's not neglect Salems historical district..

The bricks are a beautiful part of Salem. As long as they are maintained for safety of all, I’m all for it! I would be concerned about maintenance .

I was deeply disappointed to see Salem remove so much of our historic brick walkways last year downtown. Let’s hope that this fund is created and allows us to preserve the ones we have left.
