I am a Salem resident and I do not feel this type of establishment would be good for the willows.

Against everything the Willows is about. Family fun. Relaxation. The sound of waves and gulls.

My Grandchildren, nor anyone else's children or grandchildren do not need people drinking alcohol, then exiting right next door to Hobb's or any other place near the Willow's.

Willows = Popcorn, Ice Cream, Chop Suey, Fried Clams, Arcade, Kiddie Rides, Family Cookouts with open picnic areas and summer breezes. That's it!

Parking is already difficult at the Willows. Stop on Derby St. or Pickering Wharf for your full dining experience. Leave the Willows neighborhood in peace.

There's plenty of other, more appropriate, places for bars & entertainment.

There is no need to have a bar at family park.

Please keep Salem Willows a family friendly park. Having a bar or tavern at The Willows will make the park feel unsafe for parents and children and negatively affect the surrounding neighborhood- it will no longer feel like a community destination. There are enough bars and taverns in Salem center ( and new ones can be built around Essex street and other areas within the city. ) Thank you, Linda

My great grandmother visited the park with HER mother in 1902. Keep it sane, keep it family and bring back the pidgeons (the seagulls are too aggressive!!).

Salem Willows is a beautiful park for families to enjoy. Not a place for a bar/tavern.
