We, the Postal Customers of the Saginaw, AL 35137 Post Office desire and petition for our local Post Office branch to remain open, and desire that any proposal to close/consolidate this branch be denied. There are many nearby businesses that depend heavily on its convenient location for their success. And many local residents, for whom a trip to a further branch would cause hardship, rely on it's services and proximity as well. There was an outcry at the formal "Town Meeting" (held by the Postal Service) by local residents and businesses for the Saginaw branch to remain open. Please remember the calling of the Postal Service to do just that - provide service to its customers, and be aware that the closing of this branch would be a disservice to the Postal Customers in this area.
