I love this scenery and am constantly seeing animals around. not a good idea for the animals nor the scenery the south hill still obtains, apart from all other parts of spokane, this would be ridiculous

This area cannot support any additional traffic. Stadium noise & lighting would adversely impact wildlife. I support the Glenrose Association's position opposing the proposed sports complex in this community.

I rarely get involved to sign a petition but I drive through this community each day and would hate to see a sports complex ruin not only traffic but the quality of life the people in this area including myself. The south hill already has dedicated athletic fields, and does not need to ruin what little rural life is left on the south hill. There are other area's that this sports complex could go. The traffic on the south hill is getting really bad with all of the apartments built, we don't need a sports complex to make it worse. I have a feeling these developers would not want to live in this area if a sports complex was built either.

This is not the place for a sports complex. Shame on our city or county planners for not protecting the unique rural quality of this area. Traffic is a major issue, but more importantly this is NOT the right location - clear up on the South Hill. Make this central in our city/county. There is plenty of land in the old Playfair Race Track area, or what about an underused city park? What about the old gravel pit off of 8th and Carnahan? Revitalize that into something useful instead of destroying something beautiful and next to a wildlife preserve? I grew up with little league being played in all of the city parks, and now we never see an organized sport being played on most of these open spaces. It is sad that we don't value our open areas more, and are insistant to fill them with complexes and stores that only service a small segment of our community. We spend a lot of have the parks in our city - they need to be used! Start there, please!

I've been aware of this issue for over a year now and am now versed enough to render an opinion and sign this petition. I'm against any non county entity building a sports complex in this area. I do agree more parks and sports 'complex' land is needed. However this should be owned by the people of Spokane County and managed by the parks and rec department.

Do not want it. Will destroy the rural evnivironment. We will no longer be a quiet suburb which is what we purchased into.

The existing infrastructure cannot handle the traffic this Sports Complex It would turning Glenrose into a multi-lane road would further destroy the character of our area. People bought and build their dream and payed a pretty good chunk of $$ to live in this beautiful quiet nature area. They did not sign up for this change in living. It should be illegal to build such a Complex near any existing neighborhood. Build this Complex away from town! If people want to live there they build around it.

The streets cannot accommodate more traffic. With all the new apartments that have gone in the hill has already pushed the limits of increasing traffic. We moved here because of the rural setting; keep it that way.

It has been announced that there will be new soccer fields on Regal so why not drop the Glenrose Project SYSA?

I like the way our Glenrose area is now.....rural and I oppose the sports field that they want to build because it will cause the traffic to increase WAY TOO MUCH!!!!!

The noise is an issue and the traffic would get out of hand. The Southeast Sports Complex should be enough.

The existing infrastructure cannot handle the traffic a sports complex would create and turning Glenrose into a multi-lane road would further destroy the character of our area.

The proposed use does NOT conform to ZONE requirements.
