To build this sports complex would be an Abomination and a Travesty, especially since it is NOT for PUBLIC recreational use!!!! Do NOT approve this - The County needs to COMPLY with the zoning code!!

The proposed location is inappropriate for this project and would forever rob the rural nature of Glenrose. A more appropriate location would be more central with better access such as the fairground and area to the west.

The Glenrose area is considered an urban community. Not only is this a drainage, but also a wildlife habitat and Corridor. Once we lose this we will never get it back. Preservation is really the key.

I am concerned for the welfare of the animals. There is no other significant area where they can go on the south hill due to all of the development. Please consider building this elsewhere!!

A rural area such as Glenrose does not need a Sports Center. It is completely inappropriate to introduce lights, loud speakers and countless cars to an already congested area. PLEASE keep this a rural area.

There is a lack of infrastructure to support regional tournaments. Lodging is not readily available, restaurants while a short drive away are not numerous enough to take care of the food needs of several hundred people. Transportation infrastructure has not been developed to handle the traffic that will be generated. Lighting is inappropriate for an area that is high density to the west and rural to the east. There has already been a drop in property values courtesy of SYSA. Plus, there's already a multi-field soccer facility on Regal with more fields being added in the next year or so. So, why is this vanity project being considered?

This is not the right location to increase road congestion by adding regional traffic. The South Hill has added and is adding many more apartment complexes that our roads aren't able to accompany already. Wondering how Carnahan Rd. could support regional sports traffic with the addition of apartment complexes in that location also? Glenrose isn't a convenient "off the highway exit" location.
