The existing fields in the Spokane area have never been used to there fullest extent. Why build a new facility before exploring all other options. There are many other fields that have been underutilized. Why ruin more land before exploring all options??? Most importantly, why defy zoning laws to satisfy the few over the many!

The building of this sports complex would cause irreversible damage to local wildlife as well as add significantly to the already traffic clogged streets of south hill

This rural area is lovely - like a place on a postcard. The venture of the sports arena here would deplete Spokane and the future of this rich, peaceful space.

I believe in saving Glenrose. Remember to vote people out who support greed. Thats all this is, tear down, make money for greedy people. Do we really need another arena?

Absolutely no reason to destroy this area for a "Sports Complex". Keep your word as far as keeping the original zoning of this area!

I have lived across the highway (195) for over 20 years and see what developers do to every piece of open land. I hope you are successful in keeping Glenrose Prairie just the way God created it. Do NOT share any information other than my name on your petition.

Why don't they use the new sport complex the city is building downtown that we didn't vote for since it will be such a "great addition" to the sports scene in Spokane.

I think we all know what happens when developers begin to see $$$ in their eyes and the politicians see tax $$$ added to their coffers. I've been in Spokane since 1958 and have seen more and more development take place. Houses and more houses. The Spokane valley, five mile prairie, Green Bluff. No matter what such development does to the rural culture, fill it up. some politician want to make
Spokane a bigger city. Why ?? We have seen what such growth can do. Bring in all manner of recalcitrant types. We have seen what happened in the city when the majority said NO to the new sports Plex being built downtown. The answer was NO !! But the politicians know better and will spend multi million of dollars to build it. I won't be surprised to see the same thing happen to Glenrose Prairie.
