Terrible idea. The county commissioners are irresponsible, as are the folks at SYSA.

We do not need the increased traffic, stadium lights and the destruction of the rural nature of Glenrose with this project, which is against the zoning rules and SYSA has refused to negotiate with the Glenrose Association.

The SYSA does not have community support, I oppose the sports complex.

I’ve been a Glenrose resident for 12 years. We moved up here to escape high density neighborhoods and the traffic and noise they bring. The sports complex will forever change the landscape of this area to its detriment. It appears that the zoning change was made using erroneous information on population growth to push this unwanted project on the Glenrose residents. The SYSA in its State grant claims they have resolved issues with the community and has our support, which is a false claim.

I grew up in this beautiful area and always loved the views that surrounded me. The peaceful environment promotes a perfect setting for wildlife and for many people who simply love the outdoors. The increase in traffic, light pollution, and noise is a threat to everyone and all animals that live in Glenrose. I hope we can keep it rural for current and future families so they can enjoy it the way I was able to growing up.

The peace & tranquility of rural Glenrose will be forever damaged if SYSA is allowed to build their traffic, noise & light monstrosity.

Please deny SYSA their proposed abuse of the Glenrose area. Zoning violations, light and noise pollution and a total lack of community support characterize the SYSA soccer facility proposal.

I am not in favor of the sports complex. The noise and light pollution it will cause for this area will be horrible, part of what I wanted to get away from, and there's no worthwhile use for me or anyone in our household for this facility.

You bet this is one of the last great places on the south hill. We do not want or need a sports complex that will increase traffic and destroy the wildlife home of many animals.
