I am in support of the Glenrose Sports Complex petition.

This is one of the last great places on the south hill. Please don’t ruin it like what happened to the rest of it. There are plenty of options for kids to have space to play sports. There is no need to spend money and resources on this.

Please stop the building of such an invasive entity in a very quiet and rural area. There are many other sites that would be perfect for the needs of the SYSA.

Allowing the proposed sports complex in the rural Glenrose Community would forever ruin our community with: traffic our roads can't handle; noise pollution negatively influencing wildlife and the our quiet community; and light pollution not consistent with the residential / rural area.

Please keep the Glenrose community rural and utilize other existing sports facilities and complexes in town. Thank you!

This proposed sports complex does not belong in this quiet rural area. It is wrong for so many reasons. There is already too much stress on local wildlife. Building turf fields with stadium lighting is a terrible idea and will ruin the night sky in the area. The plan is to attract sports teams from all over eastern washington/Idaho. We do not have the roads or other infrastructure to support it.

It would be irresponsible and dangerous to build this complex and attract hundreds additional commuters on an already tight and falling apart Glenrose Road!

A sports complex has no place in a rural community like Glenrose. Not only would this bring unnecessary noise and traffic to the community, it would also disrupt an ecosystem that depends on this space to survive.

Our roads cannot handle this increase in traffic, nature and the residents of Glenrose deserve better than this.

Stop the Sports Complex! It would ruin a wonderful rural community with traffic and noise.

I believe in the preservation of the historic rural nature of the Glenrose Community recognizing the benefits to the environment and to those that live in and enjoy the use of the area. Therefore, I support the position of The Glenrose Association in opposition to the construction of the proposed sports complex within the Glenrose Community.

Not properly zoned.

The traffic and noise is bad enough with the influx of apartment complex’s that have gone up in Moran prairie and the Willow Creek house community going up on Glenrose. The sports complex will destroy the area. It does not belong on glenrose. Why do we need another sports complex there are already many in Spokane!

The county hearing official has completely misinterpreted the concept of "area residents" in choosing to allow this facility. We do not have the infrastructure for a development of this size, and the zoning was intended to not allow such developments in this area.

Oppose the proposed sports complex and agree with keeping Glenrose rural!

Traffic conditions will only get more congested on rural roads, and speeding will become life-threatening with this proposed complex. Glenrose is not the place for a regional, year-round sports facility with a 400-car parking lot.

I oppose the location of the sports complex being built in the Glenrose rural area, not the idea of a sports complex for Spokane. A better choice would be out by the airport

We have no infrastructure or amenities to support this facility!
