Save Rural Glenrose

I believe there is more space, better access, and less damage to the community if we build this much needed complex across the road from Mr Zakheim’ residence near 73rd and Regal! He can then view his sponsorship and nameplate from his residence, near the cemetery!

please keep me informed as to when legal fund is set up. Also, I need to understand the compromise position if we can't make it go away entirely.

Protect rural communities, farmland, wildlife habitat, green space and reduce fire danger. Oppose development of land without the infrastructure to support a project.

This area is crucial to wildlife in the area. Build a sports complex elsewhere.

NO to SYSA and their "private" Sports Complex that isn't for our community. NO to Spokane County continuing to allow their rural environments to be destroyed for profit. NO to permanently destroying an ecosystem teaming with life (Moose, Elk, Deer, Eagles, Hawks, Owls, etc.).

This proposal is nonsensical and will heavily this rural area of Spokane County.

This is such a unique area with moose, deer, elk, bear, cougar all seen, at times in my yard and in the Glenrose area. Once we destroy or remove their habitat, it will never be the same for the wildlife. This is also an important drainage area for Tower Mt, thus the wildlife that rely on the water. That will definitely be disrupted. In this case I vote for wildlife habitat over sportplex.

We live 1 1/2 blocks east of the proposed complex, and have lived here 47 years. Cannot imagine the change we would have if this goes through. Constant garbage pickup, increased traffic on bad roads, deer crossing on 37th, noise and lighting. Our outdoor spaces would never be the same. We support the position of the Glenrose Association.

The majority of Glenrose is against this sports complex. Our roads and infrastructure are barely adequate for the current traffic levels and certainly could not handle the increased traffic, people, noise, pollution, etc this facility would bring.

You can't toss a rock in Spokane without hitting a ballfield, why would we need another ballfield?

Please find another location for your sports complex. The Glenrose location is too rural for such a large project. We are concerned about the light pollution and noise pollution that the sports complex would create.

Don't build this stadium

I am absolutely opposed to destroying a beautiful rural field, increasing traffic on an already unsafe road and changing the neighborhood with noise and light pollution.

I am opposed to the construction of the proposed sports complex within the Glenrose Community.

I am completely against this sports complex.

I feel that the beauty and tranquility of our rural lifestyle is threatened by this unwanted construction.

Glenrose exemplifies the Spokane slogan of near nature near perfect. This community works hard to maintain the natural landscape and is not a good fit for a sports complex for reasons already noted: destruction of the rural landscape, light pollution, increased traffic, increased noise, and environmental concerns. There are many non-rural areas in the greater Spokane area that would benefit from such a complex; please consider a more appropriate location and preserve one of the remaining south hill rural communities.

It would be a tragedy to see this beautiful area disappear- both for the natural environment/habitat and the human neighborhood

We are losing our prairie. I have been here for 20 years. Let's save what is left.

I ask you to think of this? How would you feel if a sports complex with porta potties, 385 parking spots and stadium lighting were to be built across the street from your home or down the street with tournaments and games on a weekly basis?
