I was born and raised here. This kind of development and clear cutting needs to stop!!! We are well above what is our fair share of new developments in our town.

I’ve lived here most my life and did K-12 in the peninsula school district. Not only would this hurt the area and what the community stands for and what makes the town charming but the schools wouldn’t be able to expand. We just passed a bond to accommodate the students already here, we can’t accommodate the ones this will bring. The high school I went to is already over capacity and they aren’t able to fix it for many years.

We have chosen to live in this area because of the rural setting. Makes me sad that this could change.

We need to protect the “small town feel” of the Harbor and this development is definitely not in character with the rest of the community. We must not let developers turn GH into yet another Lacey or Puyallup, full of tract homes and strip malls!

My wife and I and children moved to Gig Harbor in 1988, 33 years ago to get out of crowded North Tacoma. This area is NOT zoned for this type of Growth. The roads and Fire Department do not support this kind of growth. Neither do those of us the live here and built our lives here. The Gig Harbor area needs to stop allowing all of these high-density developments. We are losing our wonderful quality of live. Please stop this now.

I have lived in Gig Harbor for 33 years. I live very close to this area with our property adjacent to this. I do not agree with this high density development.

This will adversely affect the adjacent Dunbar Cove neighborhood, impacting lifestyle, noise, drainage, traffic levels, public safety, animal habitat and other factors that make the neighborhood attractive and safe to current and future homeowners.

I’m a local boy and I do not support anymore growth in this town. It’s already over populated as it is.
