Save Rural Gig Harbor: No Luxury Resorts on Olson Drive

stop raping the land in Gig Harbor! Those trees have been there for several years and deserve to stay there!

Please save what is left of our green areas cause once it's gone we will never get it back.

To close to homes and schools. Plus the existing Roads could not handle the increased traffic. Just a bad idea!

Gig Harbor needs to keep its rural quality.

It's time to stop this nonsense. Our community has been taken over by developers that we are not equipped for especially the schools .

We are a young family that moved to Gig Harbor a few years ago because we appreciated the rural, small town feel. We have been dismayed by all the development in the last couple years, and experience traffic on many of the roads already. I do not support development in an area that does not have appropriate road access, and that removes more of the natural setting from beautiful GH. People will be moving West if you continue to ruin the rural city. If you look at population stats, we also don’t need another adult living facility. At the very least, let’s diversify age and attract younger families to a more rural setting.

The proposal is not in compliance with the Pierce County Comprehensive Plan.

I object to this , as I have lived just down the road from the location of Kensington gardens for 23 years . I object to the building of these luxury villas for the following reasons . The school traffic is dangerous enough without sidewalks. We cannot get to our own homes during school traffic hours due to the lines of cars blocking the streets. We cannot accommodate even more traffic in this area. This area is rural and needs to be kept that way . We need a place for wildlife. This is not what our rural neighborhood wants or needs!

I absolutely oppose this building. Gig harbor is already stressed on traffic and getting overpopulated. I firmly believe that this would be a great detriment to our community!

The idea of listening to the constant sound of the pickle ball courts scares the living daylights out of me. I wonder if the issue of sound pollution had been addressed?

Turn your sights elsewhere. Redeem yourself and plant a palace (circus) for the ultra rich somewhere in a different locale.

I oppose the development because the roads are not designed for more traffic and the school has already made it a struggle to get home or an emergency vehicle through. This is not acceptable

No retirement development.

What good are the Pierce County and Gig Harbor Community Plans if all you need is enough money and time and no plans or rules apply?

Stop building!

Save one of the few places left that makes Gig Harbor beautiful.

This idea is completely out of place - luxury villas are the last thing that area needs.

Lived in Gig Harbor for 13 years. Keep the things that make Gig Harbor great. Change it too much and it is not the same.

Please save this beautiful land!
