Please keep the little green to local people and build the new daycare in the new area as originally designed.

I just sent an email to Ms. Kirsten Robinson, titled: 'Please build the daycare on the original location and leave the Riverfront park to local people and Vancouver': Dear Ms. Robinson, I am sending this email to express my opinion that the daycare should be built on the original location and keep Riverfront park. The little park is not only super important to local people, but also contribute to the overall environment of Vancouver. The East Fraser Lands has 126 acres of concrete development. There will be lot of family live in those new buildings and they will also appreciate that the daycare to be located at their central area as originally planned. Best regards, Bin

Fully agree that the daycare should be built on the original location and leave Riverfront park alone.

I've lived here for over 9 years and remember spending hours in that park with my dogs, my little girl from the time she was born. PLEASE let us keep our park space.

We'd like this space to remain in tact as a park. Please give the space to Vancouver Parks, so that we never lose this space to a building.

This is a community-building, multi-use green space for families in an area sandwhiched between the river, the highway and the massive residential development going on. If it stays, it would effectively continue to benefit everyone in our community, young and old, not just a specific age-group, or usage need. Why take away that which benefits us all?

Please don't take away this beautiful park, we need to have green space to live, and enjoy, as children and adults to play together - Vancouver is disappearing way too fast under concrete...please keep our park untouched for us all to enjoy into the future!

Vancouver wants to be the greenest city so removal of our precious remaining green space is contrary to our goals as a city.

I have lived at 8495 Jellicoe Street (at Kerr), recently renamed the River District, since 1998. As you know, there has been extensive development on these lands including a recent construction project on South Kerr & Jellicoe Street. East of this development is a lovely green space. During the summer months, I can hear happy sounds of men and women playing soccer from my balcony. As well, many people sit on the grass, have picnics and enjoy the view of the river and enjoy the area. I strongly protest that with all the other building going up in the area, there is a proposal to take away some of this space to build a day care. The sense of community in this beautiful area of Vancouver has been sadly lacking due to the fact that amenities take last priority. I believe it is unfair and unconscionable that the City of Vancouver had not simultaneously focused on building condos and townhouses balanced with green spaces and amenities. i AM AGAINST BUILDING THIS IN THIS PARK. sHOULD BUILD ON THE ORIGINAL LOCATION IN rIVER dISTRICT

The river district is about to explode with new development. The city should be adding park space not taking it away. I have only lived in the area for a little over a year and Riverfront park was one of the reasons i purchased here. I wont support any mayor or council that approves this change

It is appalling that the city wants to strip away the little amount of green space that we have now in order to build a daycare center.
