This is a flood zone and the open greenspace will absorb a huge amount of storm water and flood water but if you building would create a hard surface which would not be able to absorb water creating major flooding for the community.

It's important & necessary to have parks that families and individuals can go to appreciate the beauty of nature and a place where people can come together to connect, relax and unwind from the stresses of life. My fondest memories of my childhood were at parks and still are to this day. Please SAVE RIVERFRONT PARK!

I am appalled at what the city wants to do with our park here on E Kent Ave S!
It will DESTROY my view of the waterfront and take away too much space where I look out and enjoy watching people EVERYDAY enjoy this park with children and their pets!
PLEASE SAVE THE PARK!!!!

The Riverfront Park is an important green space in our community and to make it smaller will have serious negative impacts. I cannot tell you how many neighbours we have met and built community with over impromptu baseball games or ultimate frisbee matches. Making it smaller will eliminate the possibility of this and crowd the park in a ever growing neighbourhood. It seems short sighted to me that we would reduce this park size.

The City committed to building on East Fraserlands. They should stick to that commitment and build the daycares there. And if after building those four, they still feel there is a need for daycare spots, they can revisit this site. However, if we truly do live in a democracy where the City is obligated to hear the voices of the majority. Then, this site should not be used now.

Again the city is cramming more developement down our throats and as in the past have not listened to the residents in this neighbourhood as they continue to build on River Front Greenspace. Please stop now and rezone this area for Park use and keep it as it has been used and enjoyed for this purpose for many, many years. City of Vancouver (Council) please listen to us!!!

Why can't it be with one of the many new high rises or condo developments? Fifteen years of living here and I have never seen a need for a daycare but a highly utilized and the only park space has already been quartered

the area west of Kerr street is already VERY population dense and 2 new developments will bring us ~500-700+ new neighbours in the next 18 months. i believe we need green space in this area much more so than a daycare. if the location is no longer suitable, please have the developers relocate the daycare EAST of Kerr.
this park is used every single day of the year...please leave it as is.
