The highlight of the river district is the parks and its green space. Stop taking this away! This is why we chose to live here. Also there is no more parking space for all these future building developments.

Soon we'll be down to postage-sized green spaces & no trees!!!! It's time to stop clearing trees as has been done in the east Fraserland area. Please keep our green spaces!

The development around this park is horrendous. Trees, greenery, birds & peace & quiet are now gone. We need!!!!!! this green space to relax on, picnic on, throw the ball for the dogs on, or just to sit in the sun to watch the tugboats go by. Please, if we lose this park, we have nothing else. The daycare can go where it was originally placed. Please!! Thank you.

The River District has drastically changed since the OUTDATED 1986 zoning for this parcel of green space; therefore, having and continuing to serve as a "Park" & community amenity, this green space needs to be REZONED to "Green Space in Perpetuity" and continue to be used as such for the existing River District Community & its' projected influx of another 18,000 residents.

Please leave this park in tact. This area would not benefit from a daycare. The daycare should remain in its previously designated location. If it is moved to this site it will create parking hazards and substantially reduce property value to the neighbouring building.

This park is enjoyed by all age groups as one of the few recreation fields in the area. Why should this green space be sacrificed for a specific age demographic that is smaller than the wide age demographic it already serves and with the new development will continue to expand in the future.

Please reconsider the decision to use even a part of Riverfront Park to build a daycare centre.
With the addition of the new River Walk community and the 2 new social housing projects under construction, our neighbourhood population will grow exponentially. We need to maintain access to this remaining sliver of riverfront green space.
The Community Development Plan that was presented to residents showed the daycare facility within the River Walk development, and that's where it belongs. To renege on this commitment will confirm that the City of Vancouver's community consultation process is a farce!

I don't want the childcare center located in the park. Alsop there is no room already for people to park and there is a lot more people who will be using the park space once the extra residential bldgs. are built.
