Shocking decision by the BBC this programme is awesome and must be saved. It is the best drama on the telly and it will tragic to see it go.Shame on you BBC for even thinking of axing it. How can they even compare ITV's garbage I'm a Z list celebrity with this fantastic period crime drama.

Ripper Street is an excellent programme and should be retained. It is far better than most of the other rubbish on ITV that chases ratings - the BBC should concern itself with quality, not chase ratings.

how can the BBC justify cancelling a series that actually offers a bit of everything - action, intrigue, personal storylines. There's nothing on tv like it.

Please reconsider cancelling Ripper Street, one of my all-time favorite BBC programs. I live in the U.S. and Series 2 has not aired here. If the show must be cancelled, I hope at least that a proper series finale will be done to wrap up the storylines.

An excellent period drama, with excellent story lines and very well acted, good drama, how can Im a celebrity compare, what rubbish, bring back Ripper Street, which is a quality programme, unlike Im a celibtry.

This is tragic, why is this superb series being axed ? The quality of dramas on The BBC is their trademark and they are giving it up because the ratings didn't match up to that awful jungle thing. SHAME ON THEM !!!

Because this is one of the best series BBC have ever commissioned. It has all the elements of a superb drama - murder, mystery, horror, humour and love. Please, please don't kill it off just now. I'm begging you.
