why are you axing a show that is so good. It is about time some quality drama was on our tv's and not all of the repeats

This show is so well written and actor with such chemistry on screen it seems madness to axe it.

This is the only show on TV I watch. I don't want anything to do with reality TV rubbish. well done BBC for managing to send a message. No matter how talented a writer, director or actor you are. We will drop you like a hot rock in favour of reality TV and Z list 'celebrities'

Not everyone wants to watch the celebrity dross - the BBC should listen to the licence fee payers ! who else is going to make something like Ripper Street if not the BBC.
