I feel strongly that the cinema should be preserved as a centre not just for films but for other related activities. It is an important feature of Ripon and should not be allowed to disappear.

I have many happy memories of Ripon dating as far back as the late forties . I learnt to swim in the Ripon Baths and have enjoyed the cinema on varying occasions

Ripon and the immediate surroundings need and deserve a cinema. Curzon operated an odd price structure and at times bizarre choice of films. I'm sure another operator could make this facility hum and hum big.

The Curzon is a valuable assest to Ripon City, its residents and residents in the surrounding area. There are a wider range of films shown at the Curzon including foreign language films which widen people's cultural horizons.
