As the weather is warming, I was looking forward to eating out again. My brother had a kidney transplant and I am primary caregiver for our mother. With COVID cases on the rise again, I will not be eating inside for a while. Please reconsider your decision. Keep the streets closed on the weekend AND allow restaurants to continue paying for outdoor dining corrals. At least for one more year.

Are you kidding me. As a past retailer in town. This make no business sense. Slows traffic. We have a parking garage. Creates foot traffic for the retail that’s left.

Outdoor dining was not created during Covid. All over Europe it has been a part of the culture for centuries. Look at Paris cafés, restaurants with outdoors terraces. Let’s not remove them they make us an unique village and makes for a great dining experience.

The outdoor dinning makes The entire experience so much better. It feels like we are out eating on vacation. The town is too beautiful not to enjoy it while eating.

Outdoor dining amplifies the charm of any town. Years ago we fell in love with the town after an outside brunch at Lisa's and a coffee at Sook - breathing in the atmosphere of Ridgewood. We should work toward expanding outdoor sitting areas.

Please continue the outside dining in Ridgewood. Although it was designed to help restaurants during the pandemic, it became an enjoyable experience. Eating outside with friends and family enabled more people to socialize, as well as enjoy the town of Ridgewood. Thank you.

Love the outdoor dining. I’d hate to see it disappear.

The more we make it difficult for business to operation and take away from patrons, the more will leave and never come back. Let outdoor dining stay!!!

Love the outdoor space for dining. I don’t need to go to Europe anymore. The outdoor dining and street closure must be maintained. It’s a great addition to the Ridgewood experience.

Aside from covid protections which hopefully we don’t need anymore outdoor dining both brings in additional commerce to Ridgewood and gives people the option to dine outside which many people like In general as like in NYC.

It's safer, more enjoyable and expands restaurant seating in an already crowded town.
