This doesn’t make any sense. My family and I so much enjoy outdoor dining in Ridgewood.

Why does something that is positive & works be destroyed especially when we have a new garage that is not being used. What is more important successful downtown restaurants or income from 18 spaces?

From the view of a planner and architect, removing the outdoor dining and replacing it with 18 parking spots (didn’t we just build a massive parking garage to cover this?) is laughable.

I heard Council Woman Perron’s proposal for keeping the corrals open into December which was sensible and would be beneficial for the restaurants as well as bringing shoppers to the Central Business District.

Keep the town alive. No one will use the stupid garage if there is parking on the street. Outdoor dining also bring the town back to its heyday rather than the open vacancy ugly mess it has become.

We love Ridgewood’s outdoor dining and really looking forward to the weekend street closure. Many other communities do this and it’s wonderful

The outdoor seating is a wonderful in ridgewood. It would be a shame to take it away. Spring is around the corner and I love being outside . We stuck indoors for half the year. Why take it away.

Ridgewood Council, please retain outdoor dining. You’ll lose more revenue than those few parking spots could potentially generate.
