The county just reversed their decision and the raceway is staying open. I truly never expected this outcome when I started the petition and I am just so humbled by the work you all put in to keep our track alive.

I logged on this morning to see the number one thousand and I am truly at a loss for words. None of this would be happening without the people who cared enough to sign and help keep the raceway alive when things looked uncertain.

I honestly never expected this kind of response when I first put this up, and it is humbling to see how much this track means to so many of you. I have been spending my time sending emails and reaching out to the authorities to ensure our side is finally heard. This momentum belongs entirely to the people who took a moment to sign and show their support.

I am honestly stunned to see how many people care about our track. If we can just keep this momentum going a little longer to hit that first hundred signatures it might finally get us the attention we need.

Racing is a sport that helps provide a outlet for young men and women to learn and be creative instead of being drug addicts and breaking laws by racing on the streets. Im 65 years old and i have been going to this track since i was 12 years old.
This is a great facility for family fun entertainment and great racing action. And it brings people from all over the country. I am from Cincinnati Ohio and I make the trip to Richmond about 6 times a race season or more
PLease keep Richmond racetrack open. It is the one place left to take your kids for some clean fun. I have been going here since I was a child my daddy who has now passed took me and we have taken our kids. My husband raced here for about four years. There are some good memories here
Please leave Richmond raceway alone. I have been going there since 1989. It brings alot of money in to our community when they are big races there. People stop and eat and shop while they are here visiting the raceway
Great place to race operated by a kind family, this track has been around for 53-54 years now it’s not bothering a soul. When people buy a house next to a race track they no it’s gonna be loud on weekends, either they need to live with it move on down the road
track operators needs to use the water from pond on the pits and the road this would stop a lot of complaning would make fans cars happier
The racetrack is part of Richmond Ky. history, we still have people with racing in thier blood, KEEP THE RACETRACK!!

This track has been part of my life for almost 20 years. I race the track and am glad to have somewhere close by to go run at. It also brings my family and friends together , meet new people and get the opportunity to learn how to work on cars . Save Richmond raceway.
