The Belmont Ice Rink has been demolished already so that leaves this roller rink as the only one left in this mid -Peninsula area. Please leave this as we need activities locally without driving far distances!

The rink was a fond memory growing up, and now saddened I can’t take my kids. Adding a rink to this development would be an excellent planning decision for RWC!

Please don’t let Redwood City history disappear.
This place is Redwood City.
By destroying it, you are indeed destroying a piece of Redwood City that you will never be able to get back. Please don’t.

I have so many awesome childhood memories at this rink, I’d love for my son to be able to enjoy the rink too when he’s older

The Redwood Roller Rink was an incredibly welcoming and diverse community hub, and it's sorely missed! I spent a lot of time there as a kid, and it's been an important part of my brother's life into adulthood. There is no place like it anywhere nearby, and we'd be so happy to have this space back.

Our son Alex has autism and attended
the Roller Rink since he was 6 in 1999 till they closed in Sept 2017.
The Rink was also his sister's first part time job when she turned 16. Skating was our son's favorite activity and social outlet. Now he has nowhere to skate. Please bring back this recreation facility to our community. It's a wonderful place for families and people of all ages to gather and have fun.

Skating is the best and fun way to excersize all parts if you're body. This is a family bonding tool that should stay here in our world always.

We were raised really poor and RWC Roller Rink kept me and my friends out of the streets. We have many fun and safe memories.

Please consider building a roller rink to help the Bay Area continue with a healthy relationship with movement and fitness. Roller rinks build community and give people of all ages some fun, family centered options all throughout the year.
