The roller rink was a huge part of my childhood, and something fun I did with my family. Redwood City needs this. It has turned into your average City that is just full of apartments and restaurants. Besides the movie theater which costs a ton, there's literally nothing fun to do with your friend and family downtown anymore. Putting a new rink would bring in so much money, and finally give kids in redwood City something to do again!!!!

I grew up in Redwood City and hold fond memories of skating at the rink. All ages would love the opportunity to do so again!

My son and I miss the community experience tremendously that the Redwood Roller Rink provided, the interaction of so many skaters of all ages and skating styles, and the welcome extended to people of all abilities, from international skating competitors, fledgling enthusiasts, intrepid teams, to special needs individuals who love the freedom of skating and whose skills developed continually before our eyes. Please bring back a welcoming roller rink for the community. There are so many of us who would be so excited to come and skate regularly again.

Rollerskating can bring the whole community together. Family friendly and roller derby is just cool.
