VOTE NO TO SPECIAL TREATMENT AT THE EXPENSE OF RED ROCK CANYON

We, the undersigned, support the two conditions the county placed on the proposed Gypsum Resources concept plan that stipulate: 1) no access for construction vehicles along SR159 through Red Rock and 2) prior approval from the BLM for access before County consider of the next stage of development. We ask that the County Commission deny the requested waivers of these conditions, which were publicly agreed to by the developer in order to obtain concept plan approval. Waiving these two conditions would endanger recreational users of Red Rock and require the County to become an advocate for an unwise and unviable project. Accordingly, we urge all County Commissioners to vote "NO" on both of Gypsum Resources LLC's requested waivers.

LEAVE RED ROCK ALONE. Why is this even up for debate still? They agreed to the conditions so stick to it.

Stop the waivers. The county needs to stand by the original plan and put the public over profit.

Ridiculous to think they can just ignore the rules they already said they would follow. protect the canyon.

Red Rock is for the people not for developers to trash. Keep the construction trucks off 159 it is already dangerous enough as it is.
