Additional housing developments in an area glutted with houses and next to a wilderness sanctuary benefits only a few and impacts a large number of people. It should be stopped.

Red Rocks is an amazing natural wilderness area and rock climbing destination. Let's keep it that way by not developing the land around it.

We're taught one guiding principle when it comes to nature and interacting with it -- "Leave no trace." This is absolutely counter to that.

One of the treasures of the Western U.S. and of Nevada....when I visit Las Vegas, I head right for Red Rocks and the misguided proposed real estate development should not even be an option at Red Rocks, a very special wild open space outside a highly developed city. That would be the opposite of smart growth!

Our fragile ecology and its lifeforms can not be replaced once gone. Development changes everything irreversibly. Our future should not be for sale for the highest profit.

I know dozens of climbers who have traveled from Eastern Canada to climb at Red Rock Canyon and contribute to the local economy. Preserve this world-renowned recreation area!

Keep Red Rocks natural! I may be a climber from Washington, but I make yearly trips to Red Rocks. It's truly a treasure, and should be preserved.
