Please do not allow ths place of great beauty to fall victim to capitalist excess -- developing the land around Red Rocks will benefit an elite few at the great expense of many. Once it's gone, it's not coming back -- that is the great lesson of American development over the centuries.

I think this would be a poor decision based on the environment of Red Rocks. This should continue to be a place that is removed from development yet still close enough to the city for easy access. There is no need to build a new community in this pristine location.

Please do not allow development to encroach onto the Red Rocks Conservation area. This is a national treasure, and to cram more unnecessary houses for short term greed is beyond reprehension! Remember the housing bust nationally in 2009 that was lead by the overdevelopment in Las Vegas?

There is no doubt this land is valuable and I can see the desire to take advantage of it by building there. I think it's the very reason you shouldn't. Because of its value, it's beauty, and the quiet that it adds to hikers, climbers, and tourists that enjoy Red Rock. There are places on Earth that I think we'd regret taking away, because by doing so, you're changing the face of this planet. Expansion, I understand, is a necessity, but taking something treasured to make something standard and cookie cutter seems like a bad idea from the very first time it was considered.

Can we keep SOME of our nature and exploration?! Nothing is safe in this town, I swear. I'm a native and want to keep builders out of Red Rock. Home builders are trying to make us look 3rd world building on top of buildings and taking away the best parts of this city.

Developing this land would be an irreversible mistake. Red Rock is an amazing place because if it's beauty and for the fact that you can get a wilderness experience that is very near a major urban area. This is already cheapened by daily helicopter flights, don't ruin the best asset Clark county has.
