As someone who has enjoyed this desert landscape many times before, I can say it would be irreversibly altered with the proposed development. Please do not allow the encroachment of development into Red Rock Canyon.

Please do not allow development any closer to the Red Rocks preserve. This will forever tarnish the area. Voters are aware and prepared to react accordingly by removing from office any politicians that support the development.

I always take a breath of relief as I drive out the 159 towards Red Rocks and leave the buildings of Vegas behind. I couldn't even imagine the sprawl of Vegas extending any farther than it already does.

I come to Red Rock Canyon nearly every year to climb. First time was in the 1990's. I've heard stories about this area being developed many times, but nothing came about. But, it appears that this time the greedy folks are determined to make this happen. There's enough housing in Las Vegas for everyone to be happy. No reason to build so close to RR. Go east developers. There's plenty of space out there and leave RR to the people who enjoy it in its pristine form right now.
Please keep Red Rock Canyon residential - free.
