You cannot undo this. America's most beautiful places need to be preserved. History has shown, once you start building in a place, it is a slippery slope for more growth and development. It would be hard to minimize the impact of this many houses. Imagine the infastructure that would be required. There would need to be cable lines, water lines, sewage pipes,..etc. Please don't do it. Preserve this spot for the benefit and and enjoyment of the people.

I have been visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area since 1988, and consider this area one of the crown jewels of the Park system. Having a world-class conservation area separated from the bustling sprawl of Las vegas has relied on one main physical feature: the Blue Diamond Hill. By developing this area, the rural/wilderness qualities of RRCNCA will be forever destroyed.

Rhodes must be out of their minds to even consider doing such s low-down, dirty thing as destroying a delicate ecosystem in the National Conservation Area of Red Rock! Who in their right mind can possibly support this horrible plan, other than people being paid big bucks to agree to it? Red Rock is heavily used and supported by a diverse population and is a major tourist draw for Vegas and our area! Doing this can severly impact tourist income to businesses in our Vegas, Henderson & Clark County at the minimum! Please don't approve this!!!!

As a former City of St Petersburg, Fl Planning Commissioner and member of various Regional Planning efforts, I have seen the importance of maintaining rural landscapes in a rapidly growing urban vicinity and also some serious problems when this is not done. Keep the Blue Diamond Hill and former mine site Zoned Rural-2 acre parcel minimum and require appropriate Infrastructure for this development including from Rt159 to the Interstate. Thank you
