There is more than enough desert out there. This is a bad idea and will only spawn more bad ideas. Just because you have a little money it doesn't mean you own the land.

Keep Red Rock from being commercialize and preserve the sactuary of the area as it is. There are plenty of homes already along Southwest and the traffic is horrendous in the morning and afternoon and none stop vehicles passing through at all times and less quiet hours.

Enough!!! I am so tired of this threat to our beautiful Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area. Develop somewhere else where you don't ruin the landscape and blight an area where we don't have to see homes. This is our get away place from Las Vegas and a great tourist attraction just minutes from town that would be ruined by a money grubbing developer who really doesn't give a damn.

I visit Red Rock Canyon and Las Vegas at least twice per winter to escape Colorado's snow and to climb in ideal temperatures. With development in that area, it's more likely that I'll spend winter trips in Utah or Arizona, which would be such a shame -- LV is a beautiful piece of America!

I thought that National Conservation Areas like Red Rock Canyon would never ever be subjected to urban development, especially because our city doesn't offer that many to begin with..
What kind of deviated lunatic would approve of such thing??.. Please, DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE, EVER to spoil and destroy what little we have, it's very precious and irreplaceable..once it's gone, it's gone for good..

There is absolutely no reason to build around Red Rock! How many homes here are in foreclosure? How many resources are there? Why do developers think they have the right to build and destroy a natural gem?? I will vote against anyone that votes to allow this.
