Since first visiting in 1993 I have watched Vegas grow. Already the city encroaches on wild lands, habitat to unique animals and recreational area for people interested in more than urbanized environments and gaming. Let's not destroy the only planet we have.

Not a good idea - It will increase human impact and traffic in the area, it will disrupt wildlife both in and outside the project area, and will take away a valuable scenic reserve near Las Vegas, which already has an immense amount of vacant land nearby on which to build.

We spent 7 years living in Las Vegas and we regularly hiked the trails of Red Rock with our daughters. This is a beautiful area that should be maintained as it is to continue to offer nature and recreation choices for both local families as well as visitors to the area.

There are plenty of other places to build home outside of Vegas. There is no reason to re-zone a natural beauty and outdoor destination like Red Rocks. It provides so much more than just a pretty view from you condo you only sleep in.
