There are other places to build, North and South, that don't further encroach on Red Rock which burdens greater environmental sensitivity than other areas in the valley.

Red Rock is a Las Vegas treasure! from development! Please protect it from development. It's the one beautiful corner of the valley where we can go and NOT see homes, lights, stores. Let's keep it that way.

Red Rock Canyon is my favorite place to visit in Las Vegas. Everytime I am there for work or other reasons, I love to come to RRC and experience being out in the wilderness. The proposed development would be devastating to this experience and completely change this wonderful area.

I was born in Henderson in 1955 and raised in Las Vegas until I married and moved in 1976. I have family still living in both cities so I come home to visit. Las Vegas NV will always be my home now matter where I live. I grew up not far from Red Rock and as a teenager spent quite a bit of time playing on those hills. I am shocked at all the building that has gone on there. Those red hills need to be preserved for a heritage for my grandchildren and all those who are native Nevadans. For relaxation and joy of what beauty therein lies. Don't let developers destroy any more of that God-given beauty in Red Rock!

This project is asinine. Why doesn't the developer see if there is some land available around the Statue of Liberty and wrap her in Condos?

I was a longtime resident of Las Vegas. My family still lives there. We return once a year and Red Rock Canyon is a must see every year. A large development will ruin the mystique and beauty of the canyon.

It's crazy to think we need to develop this land. It's a National treasure and deserves to be protected. This city doesn't need this...go into an old neighborhood and redevelop. Or find one of the many backed lots already zoned. This will be an eyesore. We need to protect the very little culture and outdoor spaces we actually have.
