There are almost 17,000 vacant homes in Las Vegas, there 8,000 foreclosures. Tearing up the land to build new homes which will only be foreclosed and vacant makes no sense.

I've traveled to Las Vegas numerous times. Rented hotel rooms, bought food, plane tickets, dinners and countless other items and oddities supporting the local economy. This development would significantly impact the only reason I visit and spend money in LV.

I can not believe this project is still pending. It would destroy Red Rock Canyon as we know it today...Red Rock Canyon came into being by an act of Congress.....That is why it is called a National Conservation Area... How is it that a local city council can destroy it along with the BLM ? Bureau of Land Management.....please do your job. We are two million now in Las Vegas.....Let us all sign this petition...step up to the plate and save this wonder of nature...Red Rock Canyon a National Conservation Area..

By developing this area, I have one less reason to travel west and explore what is left of the grand outdoors.

We lived in Las Vegas for 4 years. Red Rock was our favorite place to go enjoy some fresh air away from the city. It's so beautiful and peaceful and a perfect outdoor escape. Please keep it that way.
