Fill the vacant homes in Vegas. We don't need anymore development!

Las Vegas is my home, and Red Rock is my sanctuary. I've biked, climbed, and worked there. I cannot imagine such a beautiful and spiritual place, with so much historical, archaeological, geological, and environmental significance, to be tainted by further private development.

The only reason I visit Las Vegas is to rock climb and hike. If a housing development were to be introduced, there would be no reason for me to visit and/or spend any money in Nevada.

Not even bigger cities such as L.A. or San Diego would mess with its own indigenous, natural beauty. The very idea that all of that glorious red majesty could potentially be replaced by crap constructed clone homes and strip malls would further cheapen Las Vegas. Leave Red Rock alone!
