Red rock is a treasure for all not just for those who want to build homes there. A natural place of beauty and worth protecting.

I lived in the Las Vegas area for 36 years. This is an ongoing fight that needs to be won for the environment, and the enjoyment of all, not the greed of a few.

Vegas has been expanding since its incorporation as a city and there has to be a limit! I don't want to climb in the canyon or the basin and see houses and buildings on the near horizon.

Red Rock is a gem of nature so close to a large city. Please protect and preserve this open space which is popular with hikers, birders, runners, climbers and more, so that others may enjoy it for the treasure it is.

How can we afford a beautiful, unobstructed view of nature, when those who can afford to steal it away from us do? Are we supposed to get together to buy another planet where there won't be any stupid buildings in our way? Does the word "prestine" mean anything anymore? I guess it doesn't if it no longer exist. Lets keep that from happening.
