Wow, this is a terrible idea. 5,000 homes next to a treasure? And how much money will the infrastructure cost to get these 5,000 homes to jobs and entertainment?

Though I live in Nashville, I come to Vegas several times a year. I buy groceries., rent a car, and stay in a motel...all so I can climb at Red Rocks. I'm headed there this weekend actually! Please consider the unique economic opportunities presented by keeping Red Rock Canyon NCA free of this development. If I wanted to climb near a subdivision I'd stay in the south. Thank you.

I've never visited red rock canyon before, but I'd love to have the opportunity some day. Things like that are proof of the earths history and are vital to our understanding of the importance of conservation. Taking away the true nature of this place would destroy countless natural beauties, not to mention disturb ecosystems native to the area. Conservation is a serious issue plaguing our country because once it's lost it cannot be recovered, and leading by example is the best way to have others follow suit.

Red Rocks is an amazing bliss of scenery where we can appreciate the nature and beauty around us. Please don't take away this gorgeous area that many worked so hard to blaze trails and develop to where it is now.
