Why destroy nature when it's literally all we have left that hasn't been ruined to be turned into something else.

I have been bringing university students from all across the country to this area for over ten years. We often talked about how this area was beautiful in its stark opposition to the over-development and environmental abuse of Las Vegas. We cannot allow any small concession of land within a designated conservation area. What we give away will never come back.

Why do we have to take what God has given us to enjoy and tear it down for money. This is just another sign of greed leave the Red Rock Canyon alone. We should have the rights to enjoy it.

America needs to extremely slow its development of the natural landscape. In an era where global warming is having a dramatic effect on the world we live in, it becomes obvious that our overdevelopment is what is causing it. If we plan for our children to be able to live on this planet, we have to reevaluate how and where we build our communities

I was married at Red Rock Canyon in 2002. We chose it for its breathtaking beauty as far as the eye could see. No homes, no malls, no development. Please retain the zoning for this natural beauty.

Please don't develop Red Rock. It should be a natural landmark unblemished by houses and whatever else follows. You can build houses anywhere, you can't move red rock.

America needs more untouched land. Just because it's beautiful doesn't mean money should be allowed to dirty it up with commercialism. When I visited LV 5 years ago this was my side trip to see the land. It was so amazing! People need to stop building on mountains to show up their wealth. If they want a spectacular view they need to do like the rest of us. Get in or on transportation and visit it regularly. Remember once the mountain and land are built upon there will be no going back to pristine beauty.
SAVE RED ROCK!
