Please keep this beautiful land open and free to all!

One of the world best climbing destination!!!

Red rock has been a refuge for me for the last 5 years.

Growing up in Las Vegas, Red Rock was always the place my family would go to escape the city for a little bit and enjoy nature. I take my own kids there now. Please don't allow building to take place in or near this treasured beautiful land.

This housing development is completely unacceptable!!

I travelled to Las Vegas for a conference this year. The city was fun, but I was able to make it out to red rocks for rock climbing. It is a true gem to have such a great natural resource so close to a city. The only reason I can really see myself going back would be to spend more time exploring this great area. Please don't ruin it with development.

It is not necessary to develop every acre of untouched land. There is magic in rural places. The more we develop, the less we have. I've been on the side of development and I believe it qualifies me to argue that no amount of money is worth destroying our natural resources, even if the only resource might be a respite from the hustle of everyday life. Red Rock Canyon offers more than that. It is important to keep these beautiful stretches of open desert for our children, that they may know a little bit about the wild. Not everything is meant to be tamed.

When will money stop influencing everything in this world? Oh, right, it won't. Ever. My voice probably doesn't matter, but the fact the you can escape the congestion of Vegas and instantly be inside one of our countries greatest natural areas is pretty incredible. Red rocks should be a national park, not up for the highest bidder. I understand it wouldn't mean homes inside the conservation area. However it would mean pollution and congestion that would be almost inescapable inside the rrca.

Vegas native here, who grew up hiking and camping in Red Rock. Please keep our natural sites free of the creeping crud that is urban sprawl. It benefits everyone and everything to keep it rural. Vegas has plenty of developments in work already, start building up instead of out. There are anyways alternatives to destruction of natural resources. Thank you for your consideration, Brandy

This place was meant to be left untouched for us and future generations. Please do not mar this beautiful area.

As a former Las Vegas resident, and an avid climber and outdoorsman, I hope that Red Rock remains as is. Las Vegas is big enough already...

I grew up in Henderson. I remember going on field trips out there. I loved driving through Red Rock to go to Bonnie Springs. I loved the hikes out there. There were several times I went out there just to drive and enjoy the scenery. Please don't allow there to be any development. Red Rock is precious.

I used to live in Las Vegas and Red rock is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the day. I want to be able to take my son there some day and show him that beauty.

Please let's not develope the land that so many people love just the way it is.

SAVE REDROCKS!!! Don't take away the beauty and the sport of this wonderful place. Vegas is MORE than enough.

Shortsighted plan that should be abandoned for the sake of present and future generations.

I oppose the rezoning of land around Red Rocks. This is a natural habitat that needs to be preserved for both animals and humans.

Im a LV native and have spent all my life goin to red rock. Please dont desecrate our one little treasure we have. Please.
