My family lives in Las Vegas and I grew up going to red rock and climbing it. I still do every chance I get to return home.

I have watched Las Vegas encroach on Red Rocks for 20 years now, and it's incredibly disheartening. This is one of Nevada's treasures.

Red Rocks is an amazing place that I have visited on multiple occasions . I would hate to see it be overwhelmed with development. It's not only beautiful but helps spur a positive tourism industry in Las Vegas or respecting and appreciating the outdoors. I'd hate to see something happen to such an beautiful spot.

Red Rocks is a national treasure. Vegas is a phenomenal city full of life, restaurants, entertainment of every sort, and nearly countless open, vacant, and foreclosed homes. Another development that will benefit few, and only provide a blight on a beautiful landscape, is just not something Vegas and it's surrounding community needs.

Don't detract from such beautiful park space with additional development so close.
