We, the undersigned, encourage local, state and federal officials and relevant agencies to protect the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and vicinity from the negative impacts of non-rural development, and to preserve and enhance the conservation and recreation opportunities for which the NCA was created.
Red Rock Canyon is Las Vegas's last retreat from itself. It's a safe haven for first time explorers and seasoned outdoorsman ( and women). The air is fresh-er-ish and at the very least feels calm and quite when you a mile into a trail. The mountains don't want the Rhodes development buildings and neither do all of us who travel from around the country to visit this pristine natural landscape.

Red Rock must stay rural. It's too valuable a resource to give it up so easily.

It would be an almost incomprehensible tragedy to allow a housing development to forever destroy this beautiful and wild place. Please, please, please do not allow development in Red Rock Canyon.

Develop somewhere else! Red Rock Canyon is one of the few natural treasures that Las Vegan's can call their own. Enough with the greed.

I love the red rocks area, and believe that it is all the more beautiful in contrast with the urban and debaucherous city of Las Vegas. Keeping it open and quiet should be a huge priority, especially for locals!

Developing *more* desert lands is the most irresponsible and inane thing anyone could do: our water supply is already strained, hence the many years of drought the West has been in!

Do not build on the place thousands come to recreate each year, this needs to be saved for the generations to come
