Red rocks is one of the few peaceful get aways from the craziness of Las Vegas which is so close. It is the only real reason I visit the Las Vegas region and send my tourist dollars there.

I have been climbing here for years and respect the wild lands way too much to allow some atrocity like this happen without my signature.

I visit Red Rock to climb almost every year, and would be much less likely to visit in the future should this development occur. Red Rock is an escape that is valued for its remote feeling in spite of its proximity to Vegas. Development would ruin it as a destination for me and many other climbers who travel there to get away from it all.

Red Rocks climbing brings more revenue than the houses you're trying to build. National parks are not growing. Build the houses somewhere else. If you want to kill the world, keep building houses. If you want to grow the world, save the national parks.

I travel to Red Rock several time a year to climb and enjoy to views. This expansion would ruin to quality of both, would make me rethink traveling to Red Rocks.

The natural beauty of Red Rock is what brings my family to the area to spend money, not the development, of which there is already too much. Preserve this wonder!

Red Rocks is a naturally gorgeous area that holds a special place in some climbers' hearts. The hiking, camping, and climbing are all great outdoor activities at Red Rocks that must be preserved. When I climb and reach the top, I want to look over the red desert landscape, not across high rises, skyscrapers, or houses.
