Climbing in Red Rock is one of the reasons that many people travel and visit this area. Keeping this area as undisturbed by urban sprawl as possible will ensure that visitors and local folk alike will continue to enjoy this area. Development here serves only a few while preservation of the integrity of the area serves a great many more!

I live on the east coast and I come out west for the beauty and serenity of America's natural wonders, Red rock among them. Places of serenity also drive commerce, because if this site were developed, I would not buy plane tickets, rent hotel rooms, and spend money on local restaurants to come see it. A trip for one to this beautiful place injects a thousand dollars into the American economy.

Hello - I am a Canadian, and I visited the United States for the natural wonders that your country possesses. I spent two wonderful weeks in Red Rock and the experience was magical - comparable for me with the Grand Canyon and the Sierra Nevada. I was climbing there, but the thing that struck me the most was the essence of the dusk as it settled over this very special place. I hope you get a chance to experience the same, and will see why we want to keep it around so much!
