This entire area should remain undeveloped as a nature area. Any commercial or residential development would only be an ugly distraction. Plenty vacant land exists elsewhere that is more appropriate. for residential or commercial. Don't ruin the Red Rock area!

Red Rock is home for many animals as well as many outdoor enthusiasts. By allowing this development you will destroy opportunities for future generations to experience this magnificent place. Keep Red Rock free of housing and protect it.

I make multiple trips to the Las Vegas area a year only to climb at Red Rock. Don't spoil the views (and not just from the road!) or the surrounding landscape.

Development of the scope proposed will accelerate turning the Red Rock Conversation Area into an urban park. With the dramatic increase in visitors over the last decade alone, the threat of that transition is already upon us. For the adventurous, the opportunity to experience the magnificance of the less visited canyons is truly a near spiritual experience. Places like this must be protected for their unique perspective and opportunity for nearly anyone to extend themselves and be humbled by the power to create these wonders.

Please, the city of Las Vegas is already too close to Red Rock Canyon. Red Rock Canyon is one of the places I like to visit when coming to Las Vegas. I'd like to see it conserved.

I visited Red Rocks as a climber in 2009. I'd be devastated to see a massive development that close to what is currently an amazing natural environment. What made Red Rocks so fantastic its stunning features in close proximity to Las Vegas, but with a sufficient buffer so that those more interested in enjoying nature could do so without the encroachment of all that we were trying to escape. Red Rocks is unique. You can build houses anywhere. Please don't ruin such an amazing place.

It is essential that we stop building on natural land and preserve what very little we have left. We need to start controlling human over-population instead of destroying and killing wildlife and natural habitat, for human greed.
