I need to climb this, and I don't want to be in some rich dude's back yard

It's too good of a place to be developed.

Red Rock is one of the most beautiful and unique places I have ever been. As such I strongly believe it should be preserved in its current state. Any development, whether commercial or residential, would severely damage the aesthetic of the area and would likely lead to further degradation of the fragile ecosystem. Please keep Red Rock as it is for generations to come.

A large housing development and shopping centers in the Red Rocks area would really change things for climbing. Plenty of land to build around Vegas, let's keep it away from the climbing and the mountains.

Please leave red rock as it is. Its a beautiful place we are blessed to have in our backyards. We have more than enough house's and shopping center's in las vegas.

Large housing developments will destroy the national treasure that is Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Please, do not allow this to happen.

Please do not build here. The Wildlife around the area have already had serious displacement issues.

I vacation there every Christmas break with my family and friends for climbing and hiking. Please keep it rural and free of modern mayhem!

It would be a great tragedy if the red rocks area was rezoned for development. America would lose an important cultural and ecological landmark and a segment of our identity.

An amazing place I would certainly visit again and tell others to, but definitely not if it became a shopping mall. Keep it beautiful!

I had a Native spirit come to me and tell me we NEED to protect this land. This is sacred land that spirits are STILL living on and we have to protect it. KEEP RED ROCK RURAL. KEEP RED ROCK SACRED.

I nave done several climbing road trips from Canada to Red Rock. My first was probably 18 years ago. My last was this March. The increase in development and encroachment of subdivisions is disheartening. Blue Diamond Mounain must stay wild. Red Rock is not Vegas!
