We need to conserve our natural areas. We have plenty of other areas and spaces to build homes. Once the land is gone you cannot get it back.

The Red rocks are my favorite reason to come to Vegas. The nature is so pretty and if you build anything near it, it will never feel the same!

Red Rock is a place I go frequently for peace and quiet and to visit with people from all over the world who are seeking a moment away from frenetic Las Vegas.

We only have ONE nice place in Las Vegas. Don't ruin by building trashy homes. Enough with the expansion. The time for conservation has come.

Not only would houses here be a big eyesore, I think it would also dramatically reduce the amount of wildlife in the area and diminish their habitat. How greedy and selfish people are when their only concern is money. Even I was given a free house on this hill I would not take it, out of respect for the people that hike here and for the animals.

There should NEVER be any housing developments built in Red Rock Canyon. Its insanity and greed. Damn developers and politicians couldn't give a rats ass about such a gorgeous area of natural beauty or the fact that its a National Conservation Area. I'm truly saddened that this is even being considered. What is going on in this world???

I am furious. The builders are already encroaching on too much land in this close vicinity. It'll ruin our beautiful red rock with speeding, solution and everything else, just so the big boys and make a few more bucks. ENOUGH ALREADY

When Clark County face a similar situation when Mountain Springs Ranch came up for sale, the commissioners did the right thing, purchased the ranch and created a park for all to enjoy. The current commissioners should follow the example of their predecessors and purchase the Bonnie Springs and add it to the protected lands.

Please keep red rock rural. There are hundreds of acres in Las Vegas that these homes can be built on, that will not desecrate the beautiful unique scenery red rock offers. Red rock is a treasured park with desert ecosystems that rely on its wilderness. It's beautiful landscape is due to the lack of human inhabitants. Once this is done the scenery will be forever changed. Please keep red rock rural.
Take Calico, stay out of the canyons.....
