Red Rocks is by far my favorite park in the entire USA. Everytime I go back and see houses closer and closer to this area it makes me really worried for it's future. Please don't destroy this area by allowing urban sprawl to creep in. There's many other areas in the desert around Vegas that can be built up if needed!

Though not a resident of Clark County, I regularly travel from Idaho to visit and recreate in Red Rock Canyon. By restricting access, increasing pollution, and encouraging development of these rural lands, Clark County is at risk of destroying a truly world class destination. The strips of Las Vegas are not the only valuable sources of tourism, and the county would be wise to preserve the wilderness which attracts tens of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts yearly.

I don't believe the developer has done enough in the proposed pud/master plan to address the environmental impacts more does the plan mitigate the effects of the increased demands on the nearby infrastructure. I would ask Clark County to follow the recommendations of its own planning committee.

Show the world that there is more to Nevada than the bright lights and sounds of the Las Vegas Strip. The natural beauty of the surrounding wilderness cannot be recovered once destroyed.
