The rural nature of red rock canyon is a bif reason I keep coming back. It is beautiful as is, and should be kept zoned as rural, there is no need for further sprawl on the edges of las vegas, when many homes are still vacant in the area.

I recently visited Red Rock Canyon for the first time and was bum struck by the natural beauty of one of the most breathtaking landscapes I've yet seen. I hope I may see it again and that future generations will be allowed to see it in the state which I have.

We must save the environment from greedy Oil cartel companies.

I frequently make trips to Las Vegas, and the only place I like to go is Blue Diamond/Red Rock... because it is away from the city, specifically. I will stop visiting if this becomes a suburb.

Red Rock is one of the gems of southern Nevada. As a student who attended UNLV for Earth and Environmental Science, Red Rock is one of my favorite places to go. I have had many field trips there throughout my first and secondary school years, and continue to enjoy its beauty when I can today. That area deserves to be protected. Do not develop Red Rock!

Red Rock Canyon is a unique area that must be protected from commercialism and high-density housing projects. I can't believe this development is even being considered by Clark County - you should be ashamed.

There are plenty of places for urban sprawl, this is too precious an area for that.

There is plenty of other land in Las Vegas that can & is being developed. Please keep Red Rock a protected zone that is a national treasure & a place that locals & tourists continue to enjoy

It is outrageous that you would use OUR tax dollars against those who want to preserve our natural treasure.

We need to preserve red rock. Building any kind of residential in the area will undermine the area and the effects will trickle to other areas including increased traffic, water waste, pollution... don't do it!

Keep Red Rock the way Mother Nature intended thousands of years ago.
