As an avid visitor to Red Rock Canyon I vehemently oppose the proposed re-zoning and subsequent development. Metro Las Vegas is already so close to the Conservation area.

I have flown out to visit Red Rock once before and plan to do so again. Red Rock specifically is what drew me in and it's beauty is what will bring me back to the Vegas area where I will spend money at your other amenities. Don't spoil the natural gifts that Las Vegas has!

The Red Rock area and environs is far too beautiful to develop. It is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever been. The sharp contrast between the natural beauty of the land, and the city with its own kind of beauty, must be preserved.

Summerlin has already reached far enough (too far in my opinion) into the Red Rock Rec area. I am against rezoning anything further. It should remain rural.

There is no reason to expand. I stated 4 years ago that urban sprawling makes the inner city suffer by taking the resources too far out. We need to leave room for nature. The traffic would be horrendous. I already know that there have been many accidents with cyclists because of motorists going too fast or not paying attention. The traffic increase would be to our demise. This just doesnt make sence. We do not need to build up there. Part of our tourism is the fact that you can get away in less than 20 minutes....please keep it that way.

Though only there once during Red Rock Rendevous(sp),2016, the sheer magnificence speaks volumes for preserving au natural a national treasure.
