You want tourism to flourish then I suggest you don't go through with the plan to "develop" this area.

Red Rocks is a beautiful destination that drawers visitors to Las Vegas who are interested in activities besides the Strip. It would be a shame to allow the development surrounding the conservation area.

Beginning in 1998, I've visited Red Rock Canyon 6 times. I usually go and spend 2 weeks. I love it. if this development goes through I will not return.

Development in Clark County certainly cannot continue indefinitely and could be reaching its limits now. The reason: WATER. Grab a clue folks.

Did anyone put into the record that Rhodes wil have to spend $250 million before selling the first house? His project isn't even economically feasible.

I don't think it's right to build on such beautiful land. Las Vegas already doesn't have enough nature, & places to hike. Why take this away for us locals to be money hungry/greedy politicians. Actually let the people of Las Vegas be able to enjoy a hike on the weekend & don't limit us to just mt. Charleston!!!! Everywhere you look there's a shopping center or house. How many trees can you could that haven't been placed by humans.

Red Rock is a a space that serves as a refuge, both mentally and spiritually, for the community of Las Vegas as well as for people around the globe visiting the area. Building more houses in this specific area seems both unnecessary and a disservice to the countless amount of people that enjoy the peace and beauty of Red Rock. Red Rock should be saved for the people at all costs.

The Las Vegas metro region has more than enough opportunity for real estate profit within the existing confines of developed areas. Vegas needs infill, not encroachment on the natural attraction the makes this city so desirable.

My family and I will have no reason to travel and spend money in Las Vegas if the Red Rock area is no longer a quiet wilderness destination.

Red Rocks canyon area is a wonderful location for visitors to the las Vegas area. It offers outdoor recreation close to the city. it affords a person the ability to get away from the city and enjoy nature. We do not want to ruin this by bringing the city to red rocks. Where does this developer plan to get more water? Right now thee is not enough for the people who already live there.
