I am an avid hiker at Red Rock and appreciate bringing my family and friends to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness outside of Vegas so I beg that this serene beauty does not get disrupted by construction or development.

How could anyone think of "developing" this beautiful natural landscape?!

We have some of the most beautiful country in the world right here in our back yard. Why do we need to tear down the mountains to build more homes, destroying our views and the places we cherish just so someone can have a large home that supports their already enlarged ego.

Rhodes bought the mesa property with rural zoning. He already has a right to build, but the zoning density won't bring him profits that are huge enough for his liking. Now he's spent over a decade bullying the entire state to get his way. Enough!

I had the opportunity to climb in Red Rocks, traveling from Washington State. I rented a car, rented a condo, bought gas, purchased tickets to see a show, bought a pass, and ate at restaurants. All of these add to the local economy. Once the huge housing development is built, the rural character will be lost. Hold the line against this action, and keep Red Rocks rural.

Vegas has enough strip malls and new master communities. Don't take this away from the locals.

This development would be so wrong on so many levels. It must be stopped.
