I have been visiting Red Rock for over 20 years to climb and hike. I drive 9 hours to visit due to the beauty and pristine quality of the area. The housing development will unequivocally ruin the area for all generations to come. We do not need anymore cookie cutter housing developments. We need to keep the nature areas protected. Please stop this development. It is a disaster in the making.

Every community needs an area that remains devoid of human development. Please don't let profit be the driving force that will forever remove one of Nevada's jewels for all folks to enjoy. Las Vegas and Clark County should stand up and make every effort to save Red Rock from development that will change the aura and beauty of this national treasure to nothing more than the back yard of housing developments.

Please keep this area free of houses. So many of our beautiful spaces are being destroyed by developments. I live in Oregon which is beautiful. But there is something about Red Rock Canyon that draws me in. It is peaceful.
